Futures event to inspire next generation of ‘digital superstars’

Clarendon Sixth Form College is set to inspire the next generation of ‘digital superstars’ with their ‘Futures’ careers event later this month.

Parents and young people are invited to attend the event, organised by the Digital Creative Network, to find out how to get into a career in the digital industry from leading tech and digital companies.

Speakers will include:

  • Joel Rush, digital creative director at AsOne;
  • Amelia from Amelia Rose Photography;
  • Kim Emson, animation director at Seconds That Count Studios, and
  • Phil Chalk, managing director at Factory.

The contributors talk about their career journeys and how they progressed through work experience and education opportunities.

Jennie Arnold, head of centre at Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “The ‘Futures’ programme is a great way to find out from those who have developed their skills through learning and training and succeeded in the industry. The guest speakers are some of the best digital talent in Manchester and there’s always something to gain from hearing them talk. We look forward to seeing plenty of young people attending.”
