Crest Hotels invests in apprentices

THE Crest Hotel Group is investing in its staff with an ambitions apprentice training programme for its apprentices.

Crest will be training 100 apprentices working for its hotels around the country including the flagship Holiday Inn Hotel at Birmingham Airport.

Holiday Inn is one of the largest hotel brands in the world and Crest hold the franchise to a number of its hotels in the United Kingdom including in Birmingham and Bristol.

It’s training is a programme of work that will deliver mainly level two apprenticeships in hospitality, customer services, Health and Safety and management.

The hotel is at Birmingham Airport where the largest number of apprentices are based. It has engaged specialist apprentice training provider Pathway Group as its partner.

Pathway will be working with apprentices at four hotels in Birmingham, two in cand one in Liverpool.

Crest and the Pathway Group will be providing the training that takes place both in the workplace and the classroom.

Apprenticeships are available to men and women of all ages and across a range of sectors from level two that takes 12 months to degree level.
