From education to employment

Are you considering a career in Horse Care?

If you’re looking for a rewarding career in horse care Borders College have a number of courses on offer that will help you in your chosen field.

Most of our practical work takes place at the Ian Stark Equestrian Centre (ISEC) near Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. On average our students will spend 3 days there with other time in class at our campus in Galashiels or on placement.

For those students who live outwith the Borders there is also the opportunity, for those over 18, to stay in our purpose built student accommodation in Galashiels.

We would encourage anyone considering applying for one of our horse care courses, or who may already have applied, to come along to the Open Day, at ISEC on Wednesday 23rd May, from 2pm until 6pm. This is the ideal opportunity to come along and meet the staff and students, see the facilities and find out about a career in horse care. Please register online to let us know your coming.
