City of Wolverhampton College has launched a new social media platform to help budding photographers showcase their work.

The college has set up the community on Instagram and twitter for photography students and alumni to share their snaps and ideas.

The platform is already proving a huge hit, with both past and present students getting involved and attracting followers from local businesses and organisations.

Lecturer Chris Hill said: “The platform is only in its infancy but is already having a really positive engagement with both current and past students getting involved.

“This is a great way for us to show off the excellent work done by our students and I’m hoping it will evolve into a social space for students and alumni to share their work, keep up to date with news, and help them build a stronger presence within the wider photographic community.”
