The Chartered Institution for Further Education Welcomes New Member, London South East Colleges

Principal and CEO of London South East Colleges, Sam Parrett OBE says:

“We are delighted to become a Member of the Chartered Institution for Further Education. Not only does this reflect the high quality provision we offer across the region, but also the hard work of our students and staff.”

London South East Colleges is keen that its hard work and high quality of provision be recognised both regionally and nationally, which is what led them to apply for Membership of the Chartered Institution for Further Education. The College is also keen to share best practice and learn from other Members.

Established in 2016 following a three-way merger between Bromley College, Bexley College and Greenwich Community College, London South East Colleges is now  a leading college in the region. Success rates for 2016-17 put London South East Colleges in the top 25% of further education colleges nationally and above the national rate in all areas of provision.

Sam Parrett OBE added:

“As part of the Chartered Institution for Further Education, we will share best practice with and learn from the very best institutions in the sector. This will help shape our vision and aims going forward, enabling us to continue our delivery of first class education, supporting communities, businesses and the economy as a whole.”
