From education to employment

Ufi’s pioneering VocTech Seed projects celebrated in EdTech 50

The freshly published EdTech 50, launched by EdTech UK and Jisc last week, celebrates 50 organisations and individuals who are leading the way in developing effective and impactful new tech for the education sector. Ufi are delighted to see some of our funded projects and our Trustees recognised for their impact through thoughtful solutions and the increasing awareness of the benefit that technology can bring to vocational learning.

Ufi’s innovative VocTech Seed fund also got a special mention for the work we are doing to support digital soloutions for vocational skills:

The VocTech Seed Fund is growing in reputation because of well-designed criteria, ably supported by thoughtful trustees and CEO. The funding pot aims to improve vocational skills in the UK’s workforce by funding digital solutions for vocational learning. Focus on ‘scalable’ projects and learners that have failed to be engaged by the formal educational system.

Praise indeed, from an esteemed panel of judges. The full EdTech 50 report is available here.
