Participate in the AoC’s Further Education Digital Technology Survey

The Association of Colleges (AoC), in conjunction with the Department for Education, is currently exploring the potential for EdTech and digital to improve the learning offer students receive in the Further Education sector, and the extent to which greater adoption might drive better outcomes for Colleges.

There is currently very little aggregated data on the state of the FE College sector’s digital facilities and infrastructure. The data collected through this survey will be used to inform discussions with the Department for Education, who have indicated they are conducting a comprehensive assessment of the funding arrangements for FE Colleges ahead of the next Spending Review.

Data collected through the survey will help to build the evidence base for the adoption and use of learning technology, complementing existing tools such as the cross-sector ALT Annual Survey (https://www.alt.ac.uk/about-alt/what-we-do/annual-survey), UCISA’s HE Technology Enhanced Learning Survey (https://www.ucisa.ac.uk/tel), or the Digital Discovery tool currently being piloted by Jisc (https://digitalcapability.jiscinvolve.org/wp/category/discovery-tool/).

The deadline has been extended to 5pm on Friday 7 September 2018.
