Academy Ambassadors is a free service that helps multi-academy trusts (MATs) recruit board members with relevant business experience.

What you can get

You can get help to recruit high-calibre board members (non-executive directors) including:

• a bespoke service to find candidates with the business expertise you need
• one-to-one advice on the recruitment process
• a free guide to recruiting for trusts

Who can use the service

All MATs in England with growth plans can use this service. Priority may be given to MATs in:

• South East and South London
• North West London
• South Central and East of England
• North East London

When it’s available

MATs can register with the Academy Ambassadors service at any time.

What it costs

The Academy Ambassadors service is free.

How to apply

You need to register your trust on the Academy Ambassadors website and complete a role specification form. A regional adviser will contact you to discuss your needs.
