From education to employment

William Clarence Education Expands School and University Placement Consultancy Practice with 3 New Team Members

Following a record-setting Summer for the London Education Consultancy, the firm announced three new appointments this week, adding to its exceptional team of school placement, university and UCAS advisors.

William Clarence Education has celebrated a number of successes and milestones in 2018 – with Summer enquiries up 200% from the previous quarter and 300% from the same period in 2017 – and demonstrated its commitment to excellence this week by welcoming new consultants and advisors to its already impressive team of international education consultants and advisors. Managing Director, Stephen Spriggs, was proud to announce the arrival of Clare Phillips, Susan Barhurst, and Graham Morgan-Smith.

Mr Spriggs commented: “June, July and August 2018 have been the busiest months on record for us, and these new arrivals will be invaluable for our team to increase our level of service and depth of knowledge across the school and university network – in the UK and overseas.

“The level of expertise each of these consultants bring within the UCAS and Oxbridge Application process is unrivalled, and only goes to cement our relationships with families around the world, as well as here in the UK.”

Joining William Clarence Education’s School Placements team

Clare Phillips – School Placement Consultant

A Modern Languages graduate of The Queen’s College, University of Oxford, Clare has held an impressive portfolio of positions in the UK and overseas. She has been based in London since 2006, teaching languages at James Allen’s Girls’ School, Dulwich.

Clare’s experience of both day and boarding school life in the UK independent sector has rewarded her with an unrivalled network of contacts in schools across the country, and her commitment to understanding the needs and strengths of each individual child enable her to work closely with families to achieve the optimal choice of school.

Stephen Spriggs commented: “Our school placement team has also gone from strength to strength this year, and Clare is perfectly placed to be taking the lead in this department. She will be working with parents in the early stages of their process finding a new school, advising on locations, registration forms, shortlisting and guidance on special places. Our clients moving into the UK schooling system really need a calm, organised and diligent professional dealing with their relocation as often there are many other things for the family to be worrying about apart from schools.”

The team of advisors at William Clarence Education is highly experienced with Oxbridge applications, and personal statement coaching for even the most complex courses, such as medicine. Its dedicated team of University Placement Consultants and UCAS Advisors has successfully placed international students from China, UAE, Singapore and Africa into the UK schooling and university system this year.

Stephen Spriggs expressed his pride and delight that the strength of the firm’s brand and level of service delivery is attracting such a high calibre of school and university advisors to London, and that the respect the firm is winning within the University Admissions market ensures its clients get the very best attention for their application and succeed first time.
