Brecon Foodbank Student Appeal

Students of Brecon Beacons College (part of NPTC Group of Colleges) are seeking your donations as they look to collect food and items for Brecon Food Bank.

As part of the Community Challenge of their course, the group will be making their first collection at the college refectory on Thursday 22nd November (9.30-12.00).

They will also be holding further collections on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th November (9.30-12.00).

Food and other items needed, starting with the most urgent items first:

  • Deodorant
  • Nappies (sizes 5 & 6)
  • Dried milk
  • Savoury snacks
  • Washing liquid/powder & conditioner
  • Tinned potatoes
  • Tinned meat
  • Sweet snacks/chocolate
  • Sponge pudding
  • Strong carrier bags

A typical food parcel contains:

  • Breakfast cereals
  • Soup
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • Pasta sauce
  • Tinned beans
  • Tinned meat
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Tinned fruit
  • Tea or coffee
  • Sugar
  • Biscuits/snacks
