Put Your Education Marketing on the Map! – Edurank Awards 2018

The second edition of the Edurank Awards, the only education sector marketing awards which use empirical data, has been re-launched with four new judged categories that are now open for nominations. The Edurank Awards celebrate the success of social media marketing in the education sector.

“It was brilliant to win at the 2017 Edurank Awards and get recognition for all our hard work. We take our social media content very seriously, so this was an excellent opportunity to show to people at our institution, and the sector, that we’ve been successful.” Angela Lawrence, Staffordshire University Business School.

Marketers and social media content creators who work in universities, colleges, business schools, independent schools and international universities from across the globe are invited to submit their stand-out work of 2017 and finish the year with a coveted trophy. Nominations close at midnight, 24th January 2018.

This year’s judged award categories are:

  • Best Creative

  • Best Social Media Campaign

  • Best News Coverage

  • Best Use of User Generated Content

Dave Musson, Lead Social Media Strategist at Natives Group, is one the judges for this year’s awards:

“I think it’s important for us to have a platform to showcase successes, enjoy a bit of friendly competition and celebrate the social media work in our sector – which is exactly what these awards are all about. I’m looking forward to judging the entries this year, and hopefully coming across some awesome social media content.”

In addition to the four judged awards, 29 trophies will be sent out to institutions who have performed the best on their social media platforms and triumphed in the Edurank charts over the past year. These awards are based on empirical data, using an algorithm which is made up of 34 different metrics – split by brand and performance.
