From education to employment

The Institute consults on outline content for new T Levels

The Institute for Apprenticeships is seeking views on proposed outline content for T Levels in Construction, Digital and Education and Childcare.

T Level panels of experts have today (25 May) submitted draft outline content for three T Levels in Construction, Digital and Education and Childcare for scrutiny by the Institute. We welcome your views on this outline content

T Levels are the new college-based technical education option that sits alongside apprenticeships. Employers sit at the heart of the technical education system and take the lead in setting both content and standards. The first three T Levels will be delivered from September 2020.

The Post-16 Skills Plan sets out the Government’s vision to reform technical education by creating a technical education option that prepares individuals for skilled employment by developing the technical knowledge and skills needed by employers and industry.

The documents will be open for comments until midnight on Sunday 10 June 2018.
