From education to employment

A splash in the sea for charity – students take a walrus dip

A group of hardy students from Gower College Swansea have taken to the freezing cold waters of Caswell Bay to raise money for the Kenya Community Education Project (KCEP) charity.

The annual ‘walrus dip’ is just one of a number of events that the students organise to raise awareness and funds for the charity. Just last month, they also completed a gruelling Snowdon climb.

The student-led KCEP, which was set up at Gower College Swansea in 2003, aims to support the Madungu community by improving access to education, skills, income and employability.
