From education to employment

The Nisai Group launches Kyoto Office to provide quality education to Japanese students

The Nisai Group has been working with Jetro (Japanese External Trade Organisation) in Kyoto to launch the 1st Nisai office in Japan. Nisai will be the only online provider in Japan to provide live lessons delivering international qualifications.

As a Cambridge International School, Nisai offers Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, Upper Secondary and Advanced programmes for students aged 5 – 19. The programmes cover Primary and Secondary phases and with core subjects offered at Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level. Learners also gain the skills and qualifications to progress on to further and higher education.

Nisai will be able to provide Japanese schools with any extra support they may require within English Language lessons, project-based learning and teacher training. Japanese students will also have the opportunity explore the foundation and booster courses that Nisai have within their British curriculum.

Dhruv Patel, CEO of Nisai Group, said: “We are very excited to open our office within Kyoto in Japan and look forward to working with Japanese schools to help their students achieve international qualifications, providing them with a route to higher education and future employment. We could not have come this far without the support of Jetro.”

Mitsuhiro Matsuda, from Jetro Kyoto, commented: “After meeting Dhruv-san and Ono-san, we were convinced that Nisai is a company we should welcome into Kyoto. School teachers in Japan currently face the challenge of how to improve their students’ language capabilities as well as their own. We have faith in Nisai’s proven track record of online learning in England which they are now bringing to Japan. We wish Nisai all the success with their office in Kyoto.”
