From education to employment

Progress to Excellence Group sponsorship will recognise career goals

CAREER hopes and dreams of young people will be recognised by Progress to Excellence Group as the company looks forward to supporting this year’s prestigious Educate Awards.

As sponsor of the Career Aspiration category, the business will play its part in honouring the school or college that guides its students towards their career goals as well as developing and preparing them for the world of work.

Sandra Kirkham, Managing Director at Progress to Excellence Group, said: “Education is at the heart of everything we do and we are therefore delighted to work in partnership with the Educate Awards to recognise the teachers and support staff who help students to reach their full potential.”

Now in its eighth year, the event is the largest education awards ceremony in the North West and celebrates the successes and achievements of students, teachers and support staff in schools across Liverpool City Region, Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

Sandra continued: “We are keen supporters of these awards and are delighted to see that the event has grown into such a great success.”

Kim O’Brien, founder of the Educate Awards, added: “It is a great honour to have Progress to Excellence Group sponsoring this year’s Career Aspiration Award.

“This particular award shines the spotlight on schools and colleges which are inspiring children and young people to develop a full understanding of the many different career pathways and opportunities open to them.

“Without support from organisations like Progress to Excellence Group, the scale the awards have reached today simply wouldn’t be possible.”

There are 21 categories to enter in the Educate Awards 2019 and nominations are now open. Deadline for entries is midnight on Sunday, June 23 and winners will be announced at a gala awards ceremony at Liverpool Cathedral on November 15.
