From education to employment

Brockenhurst College’s Family Funday is a stand-out feature of the community calendar

Brock’s Super Sunday Family Fun Day on June 2nd will be packed full of outdoor attractions and activities for all ages.

From 10am-4pm the College will host entertainment, rides, sports and craft activities, plus food and drink sampling, which means there will be something for everyone.

Children can enjoy face-painting, a bouncy castle and kids’ entertainment from Froggle’s Parties.

Meanwhile, adults can sample locally produced food and drink, from coffees and pizza to a fully stocked bar.

Other local artisans such as those producing art, crafts and jewellery will have stalls at the event as well.

More organisations attending include Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, AFC Bournemouth, Titchy Fit and The Real Escape.

There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by Carey’s Manor, Ringwood Brewery, Longdown Activity Farm and other local businesses.

Music will come from local performers Lee Rasdall-Dove, Calum Lintott, and a 100-strong local Rock Choir.

Rebekah Donawa, Head of Marketing and Communications at the College, said:

“Our family fun day gets bigger and better every year, making it one of the stand-out features of our summer term community calendar.

“I’d like to thank all the local businesses who have donated to help make this year’s family fun day another success.”
