Newtown College Childcare student Libby Cawley has been rewarded for her hard work and dedication by earning a role as a Norland Nanny.

Norland Nannies have been the Childcare choice for the rich and famous, including royalty such as Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The modern day Mary Poppins!

Libby applied via UCAS and has been successful in receiving a place as one of only 100 students that are accepted each year.

Libby feels part of her success at her interview was the enthusiasm she showed during the process.

Libby’s lecturer Clare Bumford was delighted for Libby, and said: “Libby is a hard working student, not only undertaking a full time Childcare course but also working at a nursery and during her evenings and weekends working as a nannie with a family with three small children.

“She has been a brilliant student and I am delighted for her and wish her the best of luck going forward.”
