Gower College Swansea is celebrating this year’s #AdultLearnersWeek with a series of creative workshops

Gower College Swansea is delighted to be celebrating this year’s Adult Learners’ Week with a series of creative workshops on offer at our Llwyn y Bryn Campus.

The workshops range from drawing and photography, to screen printing and fashion illustration. They are suitable for beginners or those with limited experience of art and design.

All workshops are free and open to those aged 18 and over and will be delivered at our Llwyn y Bryn Campus, 77 Walter Road, Uplands, SA1 4QA.

Workshop 1: Screen Printing for Surface Pattern
Monday 17 June, 9.30am-12.30pm

Workshop 2: Studio Photography
Tuesday 18 June, 10am-12pm

Workshop 3: Contemporary Fashion Illustration
Wednesday 19 June, 10am-12.30pm

Workshop 4: Life Drawing
Thursday 20 June, 10am-12.30pm

Workshop 5: Experimental Textiles
Friday 21 June, 10am-1pm

Adult Learners’ Week is the UK’s largest annual learning festival, which is now celebrated in over 55 countries worldwide. Every year, in Wales alone, over 10 thousand adults participate in related activities, and this year it’s running from 17-23 June.
