From education to employment

Students from Barking & Dagenham College have taken part in a mass Colour Run

The ‘Colour Rush’ event was set up by the College’s fitness instructing apprentices.  It involved a 15 station obstacle course – and of course, lots and lots of colour!

Mathurin-Brown, Sports Development & Fitness Centre manager commented: “Despite the heavy downpours of rain, students still took part and relished in the opportunity to get messy.

“The event was a success, with everyone enjoying themselves and experiencing the challenges of the obstacles. We hope to be able to make this an annual event, possibly even including pupils from local schools.”

The event also raised £40 for the students chosen charities, Cancer Research UK and British Heart Foundation.
