This year, our International art students secured multiple Urdd Eisteddfod awards across various mediums.

In the regional heat, Korean student Bella took the first place in both the Computer Graphics and Graphics in Photography categories.

Our Chinese students also took home prizes. Photography student Trista took the first place in the Monochrome Print category, while Iris won the Printing and Fashion category at the Regionals and then went on to achieve second place at the Nationals in the same category.

Fine art student Apple, from China, came first in the Regionals for 2D Painting.

Students celebrated their success at a special awards ceremony held at Swansea’s Grand Theatre.

The cohort’s success is testament to the fantastic support and encouragement received from their subject lecturers.
