Overall confidence in GCSE, AS and A level, and Applied General qualifications

  1. There was no change in overall composite confidence in AS and A level qualifications, GCSEs and Applied General qualifications between waves 16 and 17.
  2. Overall composite confidence was highest for AS and A level qualifications, followed by GCSEs and Applied General qualifications, in that order.
  3. For GCSEs, AS and A levels and Applied General qualifications, between waves 16 and 17 composite confidence for all individual stakeholder groups remained stable with the exception of GCSEs among young people, where composite confidence increased.
