Call to run a project to ensure the effective design and fit of skills and training activity within the Heart of the South West LEP area.

Details

This call focuses upon ensuring the effective design and fit of skills and training activity within the Heart of the South West (HotSW) LEP area. It seeks to enhance the labour market relevance and impact of skills provision within the area, with a focus upon:

  • Improving Uptake of Leadership and Management Skills
  • Improving Uptake of Technical Skills Provision (Level 3 and beyond) amongst the HotSW Opportunity Sectors.

Skills for Growth: project call in Heart of the South West LEP (OC16S19P1499)

Call to run a project to bring skilled people into the Heart of the South Wests SMART Specialisation priority sectors, and upskilling existing staff within the workforce.

Details

This call seeks applications which concentrate on bringing new skilled staff into the Heart of the South West (HotSW’s) SMART Specialisation priority sectors, as well as upskilling existing staff within the workforce to increase their overall economic contribution.

Whilst this call is not limited to specific sectors, applicants should note the following sectors have been identified by the Heart of the South West, in either the HotSW SIP, Productivity Strategy or emerging Local Industrial Strategy as having particular importance or growth potential for the area:

  • Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering (incorporating Marine, Nuclear and Aerospace)
  • Digital Technologies and AI; and
  • Environmental Futures / Clean Growth;

Skills for Growth: project call in Heart of the South West LEP (OC16S19P1502)

Details

This call seeks applications which concentrate on bringing new skilled staff into the Health and Social Care sector, as well as upskilling existing health and social care staff to improve services and increase their overall economic contribution.

Applications may include:

  • Activity which seeks to best utilise existing resources and pathways into the Health and Social Care professions.
  • Activity which specifically targets skills progression and training amongst employers.
  • Activities seeking to engage or reengage those within a group or demographic more reluctant to upskill.
  • Activities which increase access to, and participation in further and higher education, particular amongst disadvantaged individuals.

Deadlines

Full application deadline: 12 November 2019

Completion date

Projects must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed project start date, however the ESF Managing Authority reserves the right to vary the maximum duration in exceptional circumstances. All ESF Projects must be completed by 31st December 2023. Project costs cannot be incurred beyond this date.

To apply for funding under this call you will need to complete and submit your Full Application via the ECLAIMS IT System.

Please note: the ECLAIMS system can only be accessed from within the UK.

Full Applications submitted in the ECLAIMS IT System after the call closing date shown above and on the call specification will not be appraised.

If you do not already have access to the ECLAIMS IT system, please request an ‘ECLAIMS External Access Form’ by emailing [email protected]

You will need to request an External Access Form for each person in your organisation who requires access.

It is your responsibility to ensure you request and activate your ECLAIMS access in sufficient time. We strongly advise that you obtain and activate your ECLAIMS access at least 2 weeks prior to the advertised call closure date, if not sooner.
