The pressure is on for government and education leaders to drive the talent and the workfoce of tomorrow that can happily co-exist within cities and towns that get smarter.

Smart city technology is becoming more widespread, beyond pilot projects, for smart infrastructure. However, there is a growing lack of future talent and skilled professionals required to work with the latest interfaces, technology and data that smart cities and smart locales will generate, beyond 2020. This will quickly hit critical levels for the next generations who growing into that world, such as the 'Alpha Gen'.

EON Reality's Immersive Learning Summit brings together local government leaders, charged with needing to lead technology hub creation. The free event for regional authority stakeholders, and educational leaders will take place in Bologna, Italy, in a two-day workshop-based, invitation-only conference which is free to attend. The workshop and conference event takes place from Wednsday 24 - Thursday 25 Septmeber, 2019.

Interested parties who would like to network and drive value from their technology hubs at the free Immersive Learning Summit should apply for passes as soon as possible.

"The Immersive Learning Summit aims to share the success stories and introduce local and national government stakeholders to its new knowledge trasnfer model as a 'Cluster'. This model brings upskilling, immersive technology, industry, education and commercialisation together in a fresh way. We have some great examples of this from across Europe including Denmark, Norway and Italy," said Jane McConnell, EMEA Marketing Director at EON Reality.
