New online calendar resource for T Level Professional Development

The Education and Training Foundation has developed an online calendar that enables individuals to easily search for and book events, courses and webinars related to the T Level Professional Development (TLPD) offer.

The TLPD offer is comprised of a suite of professional development to support the teachers, trainers and leaders who will be delivering T Levels in 2020 and beyond, ensuring that they have the teaching skills, subject knowledge and confidence needed to deliver a high-quality T Level programme from the outset.

The new calendar is designed to display events by date from across the TLPD offer in a simple colour-coded format so practitioners can effortlessly book CPD which is relevant to them and their teams. Providers can also search in the list view by course title, location or keyword.

Upcoming events include:

  • launch events for prospective Teacher Regional Improvement Project (TRIPs) applicants held in Nottingham and London
  • a webinar to support TRIPs applicants
  • a TLPD taster day to showcase the breadth of the offer and how best to use it to your advantage
  • numerous webinars and face-to-face events to support various roles in understanding T Levels and what it specifically means for them.

We will shortly be adding events and webinars related to the Organisational Readiness part of the TLPD offer which is aimed at supporting Middle Managers and Governance Professionals to enable them as agents and leaders of change. These will commence in September and October 2019.

The CPD resources and events are aimed at providers who are confirmed to begin teaching T Levels in 2020 and 2021, but may also be accessed by those considering delivering T Levels in the future to help them understand and assess their needs ahead of committing. There is no charge for ESFA-funded organisations.

The TLPD calendar will be updated in real-time as events and webinars are confirmed.
