Bristol jumps up four places in Good University Guide 2020

Bristol’s student satisfaction for overall experience with teaching quality, rated silver by the TEF, along with excellent graduate prospects and outstanding research particularly in geography, clinical medicine, health subjects, economics and sport and exercise sciences, were some of the factors that attributed to the University’s jump in rankings.

The guide is based on an analysis of 134 UK universities judged on nine indicators including student satisfaction with teaching quality and their wider student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.

The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide is a widely-respected and cited ranking of over 134 UK universities. It provides the definitive rankings for UK universities and the most comprehensive overview of higher education in Britain.

The new edition of The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020, will be published this weekend in The Sunday Times (September 22).
