Chris Quickfall, CEO, Cognassist

#TechForGood Cognassist is proud to be named one of the United Kingdom’s fastest growing 70 scale-ups by tech group Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (SVC2UK).

Over the last three years, Cognassist’s fast growth has been driven by its mission to bring the ground-breaking benefits of cognition technology to the UK education sector. Increasing interest in how data-driven cognitive assessment can improve outcomes for learners with additional learning needs (ALN) has led to a significant increase in the number of clients.

Cognassist is led by Chris Quickfall, CEO, who has a strong vision for the apprenticeship and Further Education sector. He credits Cognassist’s success and increasing recognition to a combination of innovative technology, the dedication of the employees of the company, and its growing list of clients who work hard to improve learner outcomes. Chris is a seasoned entrepreneur who also founded sister companies Invate, E-Quality Learning and Learning Labs.

"We are delighted to join previous Scale Up Club members like currency transfer specialist Transferwise, travel website Skyscanner and virtual keyboard app Swiftkey as we break new ground in the education sector to change lives for learners with ALN. Our technology solution is becoming a ‘must-have’ solution in the apprenticeship sector, improving the learner experience and allowing access for providers to new funding.“ Chris said.

Cognassist continues to move forward, creating opportunities for staff, learners and learning providers alike, developing and transforming services in the apprenticeship sector.

Matthew Kelleher, Chief Revenue Officer for Cognassist said:

"We deliver an essential service to learners with ALN. Just as importantly we deliver staff training in applied neuroscience, the opportunity to access essential funding, and the expertise and support of our growing team throughout the process of serving our valued clients. Our growth and recognition would not be possible without the dedication of these people and I am delighted to be a member of the team at such an important stage in its growth. "

CognAssist is a unique EdTech solutions business focused on helping apprentices and their education providers succeed. We create opportunities for learners by assessing their additional learning needs and providing them with easy-to-access learning materials to support them in their off-the-job training.

We create opportunities for apprenticeship and work-based learning providers by enabling them to identify, support and fund learners with additional learning needs. Our unique combination of analysis and expertise delivered through innovative technology is designed to help providers and their learners achieve more.
