From education to employment

Audencia re-accredited by EQUIS and AMBA in recognition of its commitment to excellence in education

@Audencia Audencia is part of a select circle of business schools benefiting from the triple EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA accreditations, a recognition of its commitment to excellence in education.

Audencia has now been re-accredited by both EQUIS and AMBA for the next five years.

As we reach the end of 2020, Audencia has been re-accredited by EQUIS and AMBA for the maximum period of five years, while its accreditation by AACSB is expected in early 2021.

As part of the AMBA audit, the following evaluations of the School were welcomed:

•      The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategic and structuring positioning, which is part of the school’s DNA and impacts both research and teaching at Audencia;

•      The very high quality of the Grande Ecole Programme, confirmed each year by the number of graduates who are highly sought after by employers;

•      The attractiveness of the school to excellent students and the ability to maintain a strong network of Alumni;

•      International quality partnerships with major institutions such as Boston University and Tecnológico de Monterrey;

•      The development of internal digital tools to support skills development and students’ experience, including the platform ‘Tomorrow’;

•      The availability and proximity of administrative staff and teachers to help students.

EQUIS auditors appreciated Audencia’s overall developments and highlighted in particular:

•      Audencia’s remarkable development achieved via its # Audencia2020 strategic plan and the consistency of its implementation;

•      The relevance of Audencia’s three core values (Cooperation, Responsibility, Innovation), embodied in the school’s programmes and strategy;

•      Attention to economic and social issues, with CSR at the heart of all of Audencia’s activities;

•      The increase in the numbers of teaching staff and programmes (in particular the integration of the Bachelor and DBA programmes in recent years);

•      Strong development of research, in terms of the quantity and quality of published articles;

•      The continued international development strategy marked by quality strategic partnerships and an increase in international students;

•      The development of Audencia Executive Education and its solid anchoring in the corporate world.

EQUIS auditors also highlighted a particular area of excellence for Audencia: the way the school has implemented and materialized its strategic orientation towards the hybridization of skills and multi-disciplinarity in its research and teaching.

“The renewal of these two accreditations rewards the quality of the work that has been carried out by the school’s teams over the past five years,” explains Audencia Dean Christophe Germain. It is a great springboard as we prepare to launch our strategic plan. Beyond the results, the preparation for these audits, the discussions with the auditors and the analysis of their feedback, were all very important in enabling us to reflect on future developments at Audencia. The re-accreditation process is not only an evaluation, but also contributes to the improvement and progress of business schools.”
