People 1st International Launches Two New Virtual Delivery Skills Programmes – helping trainers & teachers to transform their skills for online delivery

To help trainers and teachers transition their skills for online delivery and confidently deliver highly engaging virtual training, People 1st International has launched a 90-minute e-learning module, Introduction to Digital Delivery as part of its Train the Trainer series.

The programme provides the introductory knowledge into the principles of digital delivery, identifying the most effective delivery methods to support learning content and the importance of ensuring it is delivered in a manner that suits the content and audience. It introduces the guidelines that should be established to protect individuals and businesses, the importance of promoting trust with your audience, netiquette and technical orientation.

Introduction to Digital Delivery is available as a standalone programme or as part of the Certificate in Virtual Training.

Available from April 2021, the Certificate in Virtual Training will take trainers through the essential principles for delivering learning in a virtual environment, and prepare them to manage the complexities of facilitation and technology whilst maintaining learner engagement. Run online as a 2.5 day course, it is suitable for qualified or experienced trainers and teachers who are looking to develop their training skills in virtual delivery.

Jane Rexworthy, Executive Director of People 1st International comments:

“In today’s environment, we know that virtual delivery and facilitation are critical skills for trainers. Even for those with experience, running training sessions using web-based platforms is a completely different experience to classroom, training room or face to face delivery.

The Certificate in Virtual Training has been designed to cover all the key issues from how to plan, write and adapt content for virtual delivery to the ability to manage virtual sessions and keep learners engaged. It also includes tools and techniques for assessment.”
