CUBO supports Green Gown Awards 2021 – awarding sustainability in extraordinary times
As the finalists of the UK and Ireland Green Gown Awards 2021 (@greengowns) are announced, College and University Business Officers (CUBO) is delighted to announce its support of the Enterprise category.
The Enterprise category of the awards recognises social, social media and sustainable enterprise as key ingredients of contemporary education, to ensure a supply of education leavers who can rise to the 21st century’s economic, environmental and social challenges.
This year’s UK and Ireland Green Gown Awards’ finalists, representing over 862,219 students and 156,000 staff, are leading the way with their commitment to the global sustainability agenda and proving the value that universities and colleges bring to the economy and society even in the most challenging times.

“We would like to say a huge congratulations to all of the finalists and in particular the universities who have been shortlisted for the Enterprise category, which we are supporting.
“The finalist projects really do show the power our post-16 education possesses and the seriousness with which it takes its responsibility in creating a better world and a new generation of leaders.
