Ufi believes in the power of digital technology to catalyse change, and to improve the lives of learners, employers, training providers and society as a whole.

The Week of VocTech 2021 runs from 15-19 November and will be the perfect opportunity for you to be inspired by how digital solutions are transforming the lives of adult learners across the UK, to share experiences, ideas and network with others who have a passion for vocational learning.

Organisations taking part include the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA), Tyton Partners, Association of Colleges (AoC) and Association for Learning Technology (ALT), with more to be announced.

All events will be free and virtual. Highlights include…

Technology and learning for a society in transition – the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) and Ufi VocTech Trust are coming together to discuss how technology and vocational learning can be transformed by the year 2030.

How can digital technology support colleges with lost learning? Join the Association of Colleges (AoC) and Ufi to explore how digital technology can help colleges, students, and staff catch-up on lost vocational learning and reduce the UK’s skills gaps.

100% for impact – exploring how an impact investing approach can help organisations to better align their assets with their mission.

Ufi Trustee Roundtable – an open forum with the Ufi Trustees to find out more about Ufi’s impact, future plans and their passion for Ufi’s mission

Financing the VocTech solutions of the future – Has the case for venture investing in digital tech for adult skills come of age?

Rebecca Garrod-Waters, CEO of Ufi VocTech Trust, said:

“We are incredibly excited about the upcoming Week of VocTech. Ufi works with many fantastic organisations, and the week of events is the perfect opportunity for us to help spread the word about the amazing work they do, and how this work transforms the lives of so many people.

“We encourage everyone who works or has an interest in skills for work and adult education to join us for what promises to be an inspiring and fascinating week of events.”
