Cambridge Regional College launches Skills Bootcamps in Digital

A series of fully-funded online courses are being launched by Cambridge Regional College (@CRC_College) under the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs to provide in demand digital skills training to adults across the East of England.

The Skills Bootcamp initiative has been developed by the Government to provide flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and improve career prospects. 

In the East of England, digital skills have been highlighted as being in demand in from employers, and the Cambridge Regional College Skills Bootcamps in Digital will provide free training in areas including Digital Marketing, Website Development, Advanced Database Design using Excel and Maximising MS Teams for productivity. With 82% of online jobs requiring digital skills and those jobs paying up to 29% more than those that do not require digital skills, now is the time to invest in your future on a fully-funded Skills Bootcamp.

All courses are delivered remotely making them fully accessible, so whether you are at home, at work or on the move, you can access a Skills Bootcamp in Digital anywhere providing you have access to WiFi. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals to upskill, improving their chances of employment and supporting them to take the next steps in their career.”

“These Bootcamp courses are also available to employers to use as part of their staff development and can be funded up to 75 per cent. Helping employers ensure their workforce are up-to-date with key digital skills, aiding performance and productivity.”   

Funding for the Digital Skills Bootcamp is available to individuals over the age of 19 years. If you have the right to work in the UK, live in the East of England and are unemployed, furloughed, self-employed, or employed and looking to develop your skills for a promotion or career advancement you are eligible to enrol onto a Digital Skills Bootcamp.
