Facilities firm wins Contractor of the Year

The winners of the RAC Cooling Awards 2021 were revealed on the 21st October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The night of recognition and celebration of the sector’s achievements saw the cooling industry elite come together in person for the first time since September 2019 (@3D_Facilities).

3D Facilities Support were awarded ‘Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractor of the Year’ and praised by the expert judging panel, who are drawn from across the cooling sector.

Phil Davis, Service Director at 3D Facilities Support, was also awarded ‘RAC and IOR National Student of the Year’, recognised for completing his Building Services Engineering degree alongside his fulltime engineering and leadership role.

3D were also highly commended for ‘Small Company Achievement of the Year’.

With 19 categories rewarding different aspects of the industry, the awards recognise the leading people, products, projects and services in the sector. This diversity and credibility means the RAC Cooling Awards are amongst the most sought-after accolades in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. The awards night itself combines industry recognition and unrivalled networking opportunities.

Neil Davis, Managing Director at 3D Facilities Support said:

“We are honoured to be awarded ‘Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractor of the Year’ and I would like to congratulate the whole team here at 3D for being worthy winners of this highly acclaimed award. With continued investment in our staff and infrastructure, the best is still to come.”

Andrew Gaved, Editor of Emap’s RAC and H&V News magazine, who co-hosts the Cooling Awards said:

“The cooling industry has shown a massive response to the pandemic and these awards are testimony to its achievement. True to form, these companies haven’t made a huge song and dance about it, because keeping things running smoothly is precisely what our industry specialises in.  But they are achievements of which the whole country should be rightly proud.”
