Department of Education Northern Ireland chooses Civica’s to increase automation and efficiency #DigitisingNI

Civica expands public services presence in Northern Ireland with seven-year, £6m contract to improve digital self-service for pension scheme members

Civica, a market leader in business-critical software applications, digital solutions and managed services, has agreed a new seven-year, £6m contract with the Department of Education Northern Ireland (NI) to provide its Universal Pensions Management (UPM) cloud software to administer teachers’ pensions in the region.

Barry Jordan, Director of Workforce at the Department said:

“The Department is pleased to award this contract to Civica following a public procurement competition.  We look forward to working with them to implement the new system which will enhance services for the 65,000 active, deferred and retired scheme members.  The new system will, amongst other things, offer users a self-service facility through online access.”
