“Send in your nominations now for adult learners who deserve to be recognised for their achievements despite difficulties” ““ that’s the message from Steve Palmer of the LSC in Lancashire in the run up to Adult Learners” Week. The week is taking place from 21-27 May in order to raise the demand for learning and skills. It is also a chance to nominate a learner who you think deserves to be recognised nationally.

The LSC are sponsoring some of the awards, which are for individuals, families and groups of learners who have overcome barriers to achievement. All award winners will be invited to a national award ceremony in London during Adult Learners” Week, with prizes ranging from £200 to £1,500 to help continue their education or progress their project.
