Inspection Quango Takes On Three New Recruits

Yesterday, the Adult Learning Inspectorate (ALI) announced the recruitment of three new members to its nine-member board. Phillip Candy, Elaine Nicholls and Richard Wilson were appointed by the Secretary of State for a four-year stint on the board.

Meeting five times per year to discuss and review performance on all aspects of the ALI’s business and to plan future strategies, the new members are replacing Neil Makin, Margaret Luck and Balvinda Chana. “I am delighted to have Phillip, Elaine and Richard with us,” said Chair of the Board, Richard Handover.
