Spotlight Shines On Training In Hampshire and the Isle Of Wight
“
The power of an excellent training program has just been proven at the National Training Awards regional ceremony for the South East. Eight winners were selected for their outstanding achievements in workplace training and personal development. “The fact that so many organizations from within Hampshire and the Island have been recognized at the National Training Awards illustrates that businesses within this area are recognizing the importance of training and skills,” commented Rob Munson, Director of Operations, LSC Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
In their 18th year, the National Training Awards are run by UK Skills on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills and are supported by the LSC. Reflecting the UK’s changing attitudes to training, “a skilled workforce can make a major difference to a company’s bottom line,” added Munson.
