Beauty students are ‘made-up’ with @BobbiBrown ‏masterclass

Beauty students at Tameside College had the privilege of taking part in a masterclass with Bobbi Brown cosmetics recently.

The students visited Bobbi Brown at Selfridges Trafford Centre where they were shown the latest techniques for highlighting, shading, eye makeup and lipsticks by their expert makeup artists.

After the masterclass they were able to try the techniques for themselves on each other, with the Bobbi Brown staff lending a helping hand.

The trip was organised to give students an idea of the work that a professional makeup artist does and how keeping up with modern trends is key their success.

Louise Parker, hair and beauty teacher at Tameside College, said: “All the students had a great day and enjoyed the Bobbi Brown goody bag to add to their own collection of products. It was really good to see how professional the students were as they worked on the makeup counter. This type of trip really advances their skill set and helps them understand the industry better.”
