BSL Interpreter Further Education, Wolverhampton
The Supply Register is working in partnership with a Further Education College in Wolverhampton to appoint a British Sign Language (BSL) Specialist Interpreter to provide high-quality communication support to learners within the college.
Contract Details:
Start Date: 6 November 2025
End Date: 3 July 2026
Hours: 21 hours per week
Monday and Tuesday: 8:45am to 12:15pm
Thursday and Friday: 8:45am to 3:45pm
Location: Wolverhampton
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide professional BSL interpretation and communication support to learners, ensuring they have equal access to teaching, learning, and all aspects of college life. The role requires a committed professional who can work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to promote inclusion, independence, and positive educational outcomes for all learners.
Requirements:

Qualified BSL Interpreter (Level 6 or equivalent preferred)

Experience supporting learners within an educational setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A patient, empathetic, and learner-centred approach
