Cover Supervisor – Bedfordshire

Interaction Education are really pleased to currently be working with a great school in the Bedfordshire area in their search for a Cover Supervisor.

This role is suitable for someone with previous experience in this exact role, and the successful candidate will have experience in each of the following areas (temporary contract with a view to going permanent if successful during temp period):

The key responsibilities for the role are below:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to classes across a range of subjects and year groups.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Support students in understanding and completing set tasks.

• Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant teaching staff.

• Provide support in other areas of the school when required.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience working with young people (ideally in a school setting).

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to motivate and engage students.

• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to different situations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

• A-levels or higher education qualifications desirable.

• Training or experience in education is advantageous but not essential.
