We are currently recruiting for an amazing opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager.

Our client is an award winning organisation and have been established for over 20 years. They continue to support the region and local community with career pathways through training and education and want to recruit a new member to their team to continue the growth of the business.

The preferred candidate will play a key role in identifying and nurturing strategic business alliances with both levy and non-levy companies. Their main objective will involve advocating and marketing the organisation’s extensive range of apprenticeship programmes. This responsibility will encompass significant growth sectors within a regional scope, potentially involving the utilisation of existing networks to forge connections in other areas. Collaboration with the Business Development Team, as well as our marketing and operations departments, will be integral to success in this pivotal role.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and sustain a strong pipeline to consistently drive business growth.
Play an active role in contributing to business planning and performance tracking, aiding effective account management for successful delivery.
Cultivate in-depth knowledge about key employers, sectors, and opportunities, leveraging this insight to fuel innovation and expansion.
Identify pivotal employers or employer groups, taking the lead in collaborating with the marketing team to precisely target these entities.
Provide timely and accurate updates and reports as needed.
Foster strong relationships with internal colleagues, ensuring the delivery of services at an exceptional level. This maximises opportunities for offering value-added programs and services.
Guarantee that all Information, Advice, and Guidance provided to employers and learners are comprehensive and enlightening. Also, ensure enrolment into appropriate apprenticeships is restricted to suitable learners and employers.



Experience and Qualification:

Experience working in the Work Based Learning / Apprenticeship Sector
Extensive knowledge on Apprenticeships and funding rules 
A proven track record of in lead generation 
Ability to build and nurture existing and new relationships.
Experience working with Levy organisations.

Salary: £35,000 £to 40,000 plus bonus
