@ESFAdigital - A personal journey  I grew up in a working-class family in Coventry and left school to join the Civil Service at entry level. I’m now a deputy director leading the apprenticeship service for the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). As someone who has worked hard to become a senior leader, I know that education, both informal and formal, has brought me opportunities in life and that’s why I’m so passionate about making apprenticeships and other skills programmes work for citizens and employers, and the wider economy.
