Join guest speaker Rachael Bishop for a deep dive into how DSL’s and those in a position of overseeing safeguarding can develop better strategies to improve and manage learner safety.
This interactive session will support DSLs to:
• Build and maintain a culture of safety
• Work with key stakeholders and build effective partnerships
• Embed effective safeguarding governance and compliance
• Develop key policies and procedures
• Understand how to manage local risks and the Prevent Duty requirements
• Implement action planning and risk assessments
• Understand a Governor’s role and responsibilities towards safeguarding.
