Job Title: Hospitality Assessor / Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Full training and support will be given to candidates to achieve the Level 3 Award in Education and Training

Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel throughout London

Salary: £31,200 – £36,600 – Depending on qualifications and level of delivery (Inclusive of location uplift)

Essential Criteria:

– Must have experience of working within Front of House and Back of House in a Pub, Restaurant or Hotel setting at Supervisory level or above (Food and Beverage; Food Production; Housekeeping and Reception). 
– Ideally hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Hospitality (for example any of the following: Hospitality, Professional Cookery, Food Production, Food and Beverage, Reception, Housekeeping).
– Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

– Delivering full Apprenticeship Standards in Hospitality at Level 3 or Level 4 (depending on competency), across Back of House and Front of House specialisms.
– Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
– Delivering via a blended learning approach (Remote/online delivery and some face-to-face learning).
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Personal Skills:

– Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
– Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
