Job Title: Residential Childcare Assessor / Trainer

Location: Home/Field based covering the North West (Must be flexible with travel)

Salary: up to £32,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme up to an additional £10,000 OTE (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Essential Criteria:

– Hold either a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA OR Teaching qualification at Level 3 or above (PTLLS/AET).
– Ideally have experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare ideally up to Level 5
– Hold a minimum of 2 years’ occupational competency at Team Leader level or above within a Residential Childcare setting.
– Must hold a Level 3 in Residential Childcare as a minimum.
– Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
– Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

– Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
– Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
– Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
– Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
– Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
– Support, advise and motivate learners.
– Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
