@S_ERC - South Eastern Regional College has been recognised for showing excellence in cyber security education with a Silver Cyber Security Status Award from CyberFirst Schools Initiative run by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) – a part of GCHQ. Trevor Breadon, Head of School for Engineering & Computing at SERC said, “We are delighted to be the first College of Further Education in NI to have achieved Silver Cyber Security Status.
Abigail King (19) from Bangor found the Foundation Degree in Computing to be the next best step following A Levels at Glenola Collegiate. She said, “I wanted to progress but wasn’t sure if I was ready for university, so after my A Levels, the Foundation Degree in Computing seemed like the perfect route that would keep my options open.
