Dr Eunice Lumsden is the Head of Early Years at the University of Northampton. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Teaching Fellow of the University of Northampton. She has been awarded two University of Northampton ‘Changemaker’ Awards, one in 2016 was a lifetime achievement award for her work in Early Childhood and the second in 2018 for her work with Roots of Empathy. in 2016 she was runner-up in the National Infant Mental Health Researcher of the Year award and in 2018 her book ‘Child Protection in the Early Years: A Practical Guide’ was selected as a finalist for the best professional book of the year category in the Nursery World Awards
