From education to employment

Beginning of a new era for skills across Yorkshire

We are delighted to announce some exciting news on the evolution of the network, in this our 19th year of business and as we emerge from some of the toughest years most of us have ever known, we are delighted to announce the company rebrand and resurgence of our fabulous network.

Yorkshire Learning Providers will build upon the excellent work & reputation over the years representing West & North Yorkshire but will evolve to be the voice & representative body for all FE & Skills providers across our great region of Yorkshire and we will further cement ourselves as being a key influence on local, regional & Northern skills policy.

Yorkshire Learning Providers is a partnership with purpose dedicated to developing, promoting & enhancing the education & skills landscape across Yorkshire, but as we further evolve we will also be a vehicle to generate positive change on social mobility, levelling up and inclusion. We are passionate about supporting social justice and strongly believe education for young people and adults is a key driver in improving lives, economic recovery, prosperity and productivity for our region and the North.

We will continue to have our WY & NY presence and work streams that are dedicated to the sub-regional skills policy & developments but we recognise that programmes are not geographically bound and the support training organisations need is not restricted to certain areas so we want to engage with providers across our region to bring them our wide range of services, representation and dedication.

Yorkshire Learning providers is one of the largest, most vibrant and hardworking networks in the country and we will continue to develop & grow our offer to members.

Our business functions include –
