Next Generation Assessment- Shaping the future

The Edge Foundation are working with the University of Manchester, HMC and Rethinking Assessment, to deliver a live one-day conference, Next Generation Assessment. The conference will touch on multimodal forms of assessment, employment, skills and look to the future of assessment.
This important election year, our conference will be taking place in Manchester on 18 March co-hosted with the University of Manchester. We will be assembling a wide range of schools, colleges, thought leaders and policymakers to discuss the practicalities of how assessment could change and to look at inspiring international examples of doing things differently so that we begin to measure and value young people’s wider talents. All of this will directly inform both delivery on the ground and the policy debates at this crucial time.
