Attendees will gain practical insight into how to effectively embed the Prevent Duty into the 2025/26 curriculum. This includes:
Translating the Prevent Duty into practical and relatable curriculum content
Exploring how risk, ideology, and extremist behaviours intersect in an FE context (led by Ian Smith)
Enhancing understanding of risks to learners
Defining and applying key terms such as extremism, radicalisation, and ideologies
Developing strategies to make Prevent relevant and meaningful for learners
