The Role

The Commercial and Business Development Team is responsible for driving business growth of the College’s Apprenticeship and Commercial Sales, across Further and Higher Education. As Business Development Officer, you will play a key role in this, through the achievement of focused sales targets for Apprenticeship recruitment and commercial income. Linking with Curriculum teams, you will support the development of training which links to priority sectors. You will develop a strong base of customers to support the college’s growth ambition, positioning the College as first choice for employer training solutions.

What are we looking for?

You should possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a business-related subject and experience of achieving commercially driven targets. Experience of working in a training and development environment and an up to date working knowledge of Apprenticeship policy, funding and operations would be desirable.
